Job description
We are looking for a People Data & Systems Specialist to act as the "Guardian of Truth" for the People Community. As Alan scales to 600+ employees across Europe, our People operations generate massive amounts of data. Your mission is to ensure the reliability, security, and accuracy of this data while owning the technical maintenance of our tool stack, turning manual "Run" cycles into smooth, error-free operations. Responsibilities
Secure the Critical "Run" Cycles
Own data production for bi-annual Performance Review cycles, automating cohort computation and eligibility rules to ensure 100% accuracy. Maintain and secure Salary Dynamics models (GSheets/Turing) to ensure data integrity for fair compensation reviews. Lead data generation for Quarterly Performance Reviews across People, Talent, and Workplace.
Tooling & Security Ownership
Act as Level 3 support and technical owner for our core stack (Lattice, Ashby, Alan Home), managing configuration, troubleshooting deep bugs, and handling renewals. Act as the security referent for the unit, automating access-rights management and ensuring privacy by design in all data workflows.
Unify People & Talent Insights
Bridge hiring and retention data by connecting Ashby data into Metabase to track "Quality of Hire" and funnel velocity. Build and maintain the Community Insights Dashboard, empowering Leads to check team health metrics without ad-hoc requests., Fair rewards - generous equity packages complementing base salary (permanent contracts only). Requirements
Operational Rigor - strong SQL skills, experience with BI tools (Metabase/Tableau), and a zero-margin approach to data. Systems Mindset - comfortable administrating complex SaaS tools (HRIS, ATS) and understanding data flows between them. Structured Communication - can translate complex logic (e.g., review eligibility) into simple explanations for stakeholders. Builder Mentality - if a process is broken, you hunt down the root cause and fix it.
