Power BI engineer

The organization operates in the social profit sector, supporting institutions that work with people with disabilities. The objective of this assignment is to modernize the current reporting approach by centralizing all reporting activities within Power BI.

Currently, approximately 50 reports are built using fixed SQL queries through an existing application platform. This setup offers limited flexibility, as any change requires manual updates to underlying queries. The application is used internally and by external organizations to manage clients, billing, staff and contracts, and system integrations. Each organization has its own business logic and workflows within the shared database.

The mission is to redesign and consolidate reporting into Power BI and to develop dedicated dashboard use cases in collaboration with internal development teams and business stakeholders.

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Initial experience designing and building Power BI reports and dashboards

• Experience translating business requirements into clear and actionable data visualizations
• Ability to optimize visuals for performance and readability
• Experience analyzing data and reporting in Power BI
• Basic knowledge of DAX and MS SQL Server
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn
• Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to data quality and governance principles
• Knowledge of the healthcare or disability support sector is a plus
• Experience with public or regional subsidy-based funding models is a plus
