Job description

The role is to assist and support the Service Manager who plays a key leadership role within the Housing, Property & Assets Department. This position is responsible for managing the council's property data systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to support strategic decisions, service delivery, and compliance. The role involves overseeing the Property Information Team, property surveys and valuations, and maintaining asset records through systems like HMIS, C365 & NEC.

Working with:

The Property & Asset Management teams along with the Statutory Compliance team and wider housing property functions.

Support:

Strategic Asset Manager and everyone in the Property & Assets Department.

Client base:

Wigan staff working within the housing functions, corporate buildings, residents and contractors managing housing assets.

Requirements

You will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated and professional individual with experience of providing property advice to assist and guide clients in their decision making. A skilled communicator and collaborator, you will show commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused property intelligence.

You will have developed knowledge of managing property records through software database and related data reporting systems. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, HMIS, NEC, C365 and property asset management software would be beneficial to hit the ground running.

Benefits & conditions

Salary: Grade 10, £45,091 - £49,282 per annum.

37 hours per week
