Job description

The SCADA Product Owner will join the newly established GTS SCADA Management Squad, responsible for overseeing the Euroclear SCADA environment. This environment is critical for managing and monitoring Euroclear's offices and data centers, covering three main domains: Physical Security (e.g., CCTV, building access), building management systems (e.g., heating, cooling), and IoT solutions (e.g., smart lockers).

Currently, the Euroclear domain supports approximately 1,800 devices and 9 main applications, with rapid growth in recent years. These devices operate within a dedicated network zone to ensure isolation and security.

Unlike traditional IT, the SCADA domain manages industrial systems, and many suppliers lack the necessary IT and security expertise to meet Euroclear's standards. There is also a growing demand to integrate SCADA devices with Euroclear IT systems (such as ServiceNow and access management).

The new Squad will drive the integration of Operational Technology (OT) landscapes with business IT, ensure compliance with Euroclear security controls (including TSB, secure images, vulnerability and access management), document processes and projects, and plan for future evolution.

The SCADA Product Owner will be responsible for the management of a team of 6 people as well as the evolution of the OT domain.

He/She will have to ensure the adherence of the product to Euroclear IT infrastructure and security standards, the interaction with Internal Audit, the management of the different Issues and Action plans associated with the domain, the adherence to the Squad related controls (SDLC, …)

Success in this position requires expertise in IT infrastructure, OT infrastructure and people management, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively to resolve technical issues.

Primary Duties:

  • Act as the people manager of all the employees in the appointed squads.
  • Develop a cybersecurity standard with CISO department and plan implementation of these principles.
  • Translate functional demands from Euroclear departments to requirements for IOT/Building management/ Physical Security applications and/or interfaces with other applications.
  • Manage Euroclear's OT roadmap.
  • Manage the backlog, making sure it is complete, transparent and understood.
  • Ensures that product meets regulatory requirement, Euroclear policies and needs of internal customers/stakeholders.
  • Collect evidence from all building automation & Physical security infrastructure & applications to meet requirements set by compliance.
  • Drive the performance evaluation and discussion process, collect the 360° feedback.
  • Facilitate the actions for skill and competency development together with the squad(s).
  • Identify the recruitment needs of the squads and assesses the new recruits as 'fit for mission' (in collaboration with the Practice Leads).
  • Onboard the new joiners, approve access rights and recertifications (including the vendor staff in the appointed squads).
  • Act as the escalation point for people and HR related matters.
  • Integrate building automation assets in the established ITIL tooling & align internal processes with supporting services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Client & Employee experience.
  • Align the OT strategy, budget and roadmap with the Workplace and Corporate Security objectives, strategy and budgets.
  • Act at the GTS SPOC for the product users at Workplace and Corporate Security.
  • Monitor budget and contract.
  • Provide on-call and weekend operational support.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science / Engineering Technology (Electronics or Computer Science)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Product Owner / team lead role.
  • Proven experience managing and maintaining servers, operating systems, end user equipment and/or network devices.
  • Knowledge of SCADA technologies (Building Management Systems and Physical Security) is an asset.
  • Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines quickly
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus)

  • Position available in Paris or Brussels with regular trips anticipated.
