Job description

Secondment will be considered for internal candidates - If you are successful after interview, you must obtain approval from your current line manager to accept the offer., You will provide a high level administrative, quality, governance and secretarial function to the Pre-Analytics management and Haematology Quality team. The Post holder is responsible for the production and maintenance of all network support documentation, the preparation and monitoring of work plans and support materials.

The Post holder will be responsible for the management of the phlebotomy administrative and clerical service for the Pre-Analytics including taking operational management responsibility for the Phlebotomy Admin Specialist.

In addition, the post holder will be responsible for the administration of Q-Pulse and Datix systems and act as a source of advice and guidance regarding the administrative specialty.

You will work closely with the Pre-Analytic Management team, Haematology Quality Section Manager and the Pre-Analytic team, with further support and direction from the Senior Pathology management team.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated, organised and detail-orientated candidate to join our Pre-Analytic team as a Quality, Governance and Office Manager. We are looking for someone who is able to collate information, track actions, adhere to regulatory standards including UKAS and be able to communicate sensitively and confidentially with staff, service users, and third parties.
