Job description

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter for large-scale data processing (20TB+ databases: Oracle/SybaseIQ).
  • Develop Java applications utilizing Java, Springboot, Maven, etc.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage release processes, secure complex changes, enforce coding best practices, and maintain high code quality.
  • Optimize batch processing, scheduling, and monitoring, with a focus on performance tuning and automation.
  • Employ a hands-on, pragmatic approach to troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Work effectively in a cross-cultural, English-speaking team environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). An advanced degree (Master's/PhD) is considered an advantage for complex problem-solving.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.
  • Expertise in ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter) and big data (20TB+ Oracle/SybaseIQ).
  • Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, optimization).
  • Proficiency in Java (Java, Springboot, Maven, etc.) with a willingness to learn and build solutions with expert support.
  • Experience in scheduling/monitoring, batch processing, dependency management, and performance tuning.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of data governance or regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
  • Banking/Insurance sector experience is preferred but not mandatory., * Team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
