Job description

Following an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity to join our ICT, Data and Digital team as an IT Training Specialist at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG).

This role is central to how we support colleagues through digital change. With several high-profile system implementations on the horizon, you'll play a key role in ensuring our people feel confident, capable and supported to get the very best from our technology.

While the role offers hybrid working, it's essential that the successful candidate can maintain a consistent on-site presence. For at least the initial period, this will mean working from our Wythenshawe office a minimum of four days per week, reflecting the hands-on, collaborative nature of the role and the need to support colleagues face to face across the organisation.

About the Role

As our IT Training Specialist, you'll design and deliver engaging, accessible training that builds digital confidence and supports colleagues through change. You'll identify learning needs, create practical learning solutions, and champion digital inclusion - helping colleagues work smarter and more efficiently.

Working closely with the PMO and Digital Innovation teams, you'll support the rollout of new systems and ways of working, ensuring learning is timely, relevant and impactful. You'll also help embed a culture of continuous learning, promoting self-service tools and supporting digital champions across the organisation.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines technical knowledge, creativity, and strong people skills - with real opportunity to shape how digital learning is delivered at WCHG., * Identify digital learning needs and design engaging, practical training solutions

  • Deliver blended learning through workshops, e-learning, videos and drop-in sessions
  • Support major digital and system implementations across the organisation
  • Champion digital inclusion and self-service learning tools
  • Develop and manage digital skills assurance and licensing processes
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver value-for-money training
  • Measure the impact of learning to support continuous improvement

Requirements

Do you have experience in Management?, * Strong experience delivering IT or digital training within a complex organisation

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related digital tools
  • Ability to translate complex systems into clear, engaging learning experiences
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
  • Experience using e-learning authoring tools and blended learning approaches
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a genuine passion for helping others learn

Relevant professional qualifications or certifications (e.g. CIPD L&D, Microsoft, CompTIA) are desirable, alongside a commitment to continuous professional development.
