Job description

This role combines general L1 IT support (approx. 30%) with a primary focus on support for the Aderant system (approx. 70%), which is a strategic, business-critical application at the core of the firm's finance, billing, and time-recording processes. As such, this position has a direct impact on daily operations, financial accuracy, and overall business performance, offering high visibility and responsibility within the organization. You will be embedded in the L1 IT support team and work closely with internal stakeholders, the internal Aderant L2 support team, and Aderant's external support, coordinating and following up on incidents, requests, and enhancements., * First point of contact (L1) for user support related to the Aderant system (approx. 70%)

  • Providing general L1 IT support (approx. 30%) as part of the L1 IT support team (hardware, software, workplace tools, troubleshooting)
  • Advising and supporting users on Aderant usage, finance and accounting workflows, and best practices
  • Coordinating, tracking, and following up on tickets with Aderant's external support, ensuring timely resolution and transparent communication
  • Working closely with the internal Aderant L2 support team to escalate, document, and resolve more complex issues
  • Collecting, documenting, and structuring user requirements, incidents, and process-related feedback with a strong business-process focus
  • Creating and maintaining system, application, and process documentation in English
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes and delivering user training on Aderant functionalities and related workflows
  • Active involvement in ICT projects and contribution to the continuous development of the firm's ICT landscape
  • Supporting the company's AI transformation initiatives by facilitating the use of LLM technologies and gathering structured feedback on user workflows

Requirements

  • Completed IT training with relevant professional experience (3-5 years preferred)
  • Experience with Aderant, a Practice Management Software for law firms
  • Interest or experience in business processes, finance, or accounting workflows
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with virtualized infrastructures / VDI (VMware / Horizon), Active Directory, SharePoint
  • Experience with Azure / M365, Intune, GPO, PowerShell / scripting
  • Experience in industries requiring a high level of confidentiality (e.g., legal services, banking, insurance)
  • Strong communication skills, service orientation, and problem-solving mindset
  • Very good written and spoken French and English (B2/C1 minimum); German is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, structured and diligent working style, and a collaborative mindset
