IT Support Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced IT Support Technician who will provide day maintenance and support for Broadland Housings hardware and deliver exceptional customer service. The role involves:

Work with the Senior IT Manager to ensure the business has the appropriate infrastructure in place to ensure the strategic objectives of Broadland can be met. Administration of Broadlands Office 365 account including Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. Assisting the Senior IT Manager with maintaining, designing and troubleshooting Broadlands infrastructure. Monitoring network utilisation and performance, reporting any issue issues to the Senior IT Manager. Installation, configuration and testing of network equipment at new and existing locations. To provide 2nd line IT support services. Act as a point of escalation for the IT Support Assistant for 2nd line IT support. Maintains and configures Broadlands unified communications infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have experience providing 2nd line support and at least two years experience working in networking and telephony systems. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Hyper V, VoIP, Office 365, LAN/WAN security and have profound customer service skills. A driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential as travel throughout Norfolk will be required.

We are a Hybrid Homeworking employer and provide the team with the tools to work from home (approx. 60% home and 40% office split). As the role requires attendance at Broadland premises candidates must live within a 75-minute commute of their office location (Norwich, NR1 1HU).
