Job description
Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking an experienced Tech Support Lead with strong expertise in ArcGIS, Hexagon, Hexagon Geospatial Portal, Oracle Spatial, and .NET for Telecoms projects. This is a 6-month contract role with a high likelihood of extension. Role
- Provide application support and maintenance for Telecoms systems
- Lead a team and guide junior resources in daily operations
- Perform L2 and L3 operations in OSS, B2B, Wholesale, and Corporate domains
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem management for recurring issues
- Create workarounds and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for junior team members
- Plan, coordinate, and deploy changes in pre-production and production environments
- Automate manual jobs and activities, including CSIP processes
- Analyse system vulnerabilities and monitor progress of fixes
- Perform capacity management and disaster recovery activities, including failover testing
Must Have - Skills & Experience
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in application support/maintenance in the Telecoms domain
- Strong experience with ArcGIS, Hexagon, Hexagon Geospatial Portal, Oracle Spatial, .Net
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and experience leading a team
- Hands-on experience with GCOOMS, ArcGIS, GCP, and Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of Java and willingness to learn new technologies
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux OS, Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
