IT Support Engineer

• Administration and support of the IT Service Desk.
• Maintenance and management of user accounts in accordance with organisational policies, including administration of Microsoft Active Directory.

Configuration of personal computers and installation of approved software packages.

• Assistance with the build, deployment, and maintenance of IT equipment, including virtual environments using VMware.
• Daily monitoring of servers, including the execution of routine checks and management of server backups.

Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * Professional IT certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation).

• Demonstrable experience in IT support, preferably within a medium to large-scale organisation.
• Microsoft Active Directory administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work independently with minimal supervision., * A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• Practical experience with VMware virtualisation technologies, * A strong interest in information technology and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• An enthusiastic and approachable manner, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

The successful candidate will be required to participate in a regular rotational shift pattern and must demonstrate flexibility to provide cover for planned absences. A shift allowance will be provided in accordance with company policy.
