This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, driven PMO leader who can bring structure, clarity, and excellence to a diverse portfolio of IT projects while empowering teams and shaping best practice across the department., As the IT PMO Manager, you will oversee the governance, standards, and performance of the IT Programme Management Office. You'll define and embed PMO frameworks, ensure project delivery aligns with organisational strategy, and provide expert guidance to ensure transparency, predictability, and value across all programmes and projects.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, project teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to support prioritisation, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring that the IT portfolio delivers measurable outcomes for the business., * Develop and implement PMO frameworks, standards, and methodologies to drive consistency and quality in project delivery
- Lead, mentor, and develop the PMO team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure robust governance across all IT projects, including reporting, compliance, and risk management
- Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and portfolio planning
- Provide clear reporting and insights to the IT Director and senior stakeholders
- Support prioritisation of IT initiatives to align with business strategy
- Drive adoption of best-practice tools, processes, and project management approaches
- Act as a key liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors
- Support change management and the introduction of new technologies and systems
- Champion a pragmatic, value-focused approach to governance
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, * Proven PMO leadership or senior IT project management experience
- Strong understanding of PMO and project methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, PMI, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and complex project portfolios
- Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office
Desirable
- Degree in IT, Business, or related discipline
- Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, etc.)
- Experience in large, complex, or global organisations
