Job description

As our new Print Software Consultant, you will be the face of a global leader in digital transformation when you implement the CUE Print software and integrate it with other systems, platforms, services, and tools. Specifically, you will:

  • Implementation and integration the CUE Print software
  • Upgrade our customers' CUE Print software (expect some off hours due to the customers' needs)
  • Support existing customers as a technical contact in their ongoing need for adjustments and enhancements
  • Lead workshops to teach customers how to follow the software's best practices
  • Support sales activities with e.g. presentations of server architecture
  • Contribute to standardization and optimization of workflows and best practices within Professional Services
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Professional Services and other relevant departments to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support pre-sales activities and provide estimates for upcoming customer projects

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, On a personal level, you are a strong communicator who can translate business requirements into solution descriptions. And you can carry the customer from conceptual design to implementation. As our customers are geographically diverse, you must be comfortable working remotely, have some travel days - and a well-organized approach. Also, we hope you are comfortable navigating a steep learning curve as CUE Print is an in-house developed platform. Finally, we imagine that you: Have 2 to 5 years of professional experience in similar positions

  • Hold a B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent and bring some experience from a similar position
  • Are proficient in Linux and/or other Unix-based operating systems
  • Have experience with server administration, shell scripting, and system configuration in complex environments
  • Are familiar with networking concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPN, TCP/UDP, HTTPS) for effective troubleshooting support
  • Have experience with production-critical systems and understanding of stability, uptime, and incident response requirements - as well as experience with version control systems like Git, and basic knowledge of web servers (Apache) and databases (Oracle)
  • Have an understanding of agile software development principles and working in cross-functional teams
  • Proven consulting experience, including direct customer dialogueKnowledge of Java, Shell Scripting, and C++ is also important.
  • Experience with CUE Print software is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Professional travel experience is considered a plus
  • Are fluent in professional English (German or French is a plus but not a requirement)
