Sr. Applications Engineer

1. Lead test automation and data analysis within RF Applications.
2. Support Low Power Wireless SOC's products.
3. Obtain design wins through close cooperation with chipset vendors and end customers.
4. Provide remote and on-site customer support (may occasionally require travelling).
5. Create, present and update written materials providing technical product information. Provide the appropriate training, reference designs, custom designs, and application notes.
6. Help customers evaluate and use Qorvo RF-semiconductor products. Provide detailed performance analysis on Qorvo Transceivers, and other compounded semiconductor RF products per customer requests.
7. Provide feedback and documentation to marketing and sales teams to promote Qorvo products to customers.
8. Employ technical writing skills enough to publish in trade journals.

1. Bachelor or MS in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) required.
2. 5 years of direct experience in RF system designs and/or application engineering.
3. Experience with Wi-Fi, Zigbee / Matter and BLE standards.
4. Strong software knowledge for automated testing for multiple OTA test cases. Familiarity with scripting languages for data collection and processing such as Matlab and/or Python.
5. Hands-on experience with RF-microwave test equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes is a must.
6. Good communication skills with customers and the internal teams are a must.
7. Experience with ADS, HFSS or equivalent RF simulation tools is desirable.
