Job description

  • Conduct intake checks and Certificate of Analysis (COA) verification for raw materials and packaging.
  • Carry out equipment internal calibration and verification.
  • Perform daily factory inspections, including line changeovers, swabbing, and production checks verification.
  • Maintain document control, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Internal Audits in accordance with the audit schedules, such as:
  • GMP & Hygiene Audits
  • Fabrication Audits
  • Quality Procedural Audits
  • Traceability Audits
  • Glass and hard plastic audits.
  • Support external audits by completing the traceability exercise and ensuring documents are available upon request.
  • Facilitate product sampling and external laboratory testing, including taste panels and End-of-Line (EOL) assessments.
  • Provide training and competency assessments on Critical Control Points (CCP) and QMS policies and procedures.
  • Update, review, and train staff on Product Information Sheets, Quality Attributes Sheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform process control verification, such as Free Fatty Acid (FFA) tests.
  • Complete, document and investigate internal non-conformances and customer complaints ensuring all are closed on time.
  • Ensure holds and concessions are documented.
  • Perform any other quality and food safety-related tasks as instructed by the Quality Manager.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Quality control?, * Minimum of 1 year of experience in food manufacturing and quality assurance.

  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations, industry standards, BRC and retainers code of practice.
  • Excellent organisational, time-management problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and document control software's.
