Job description
Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 application support * Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents and issues * Implement configuration changes, upgrades, and enhancements * Manage application and infrastructure patching * Coordinate with third-party vendors on maintenance and upgrades * Support security, compliance, and data protection requirements * Maintain technical documentation and user guidance * Engage with business and technical stakeholders to support change and improvement * Contribute to application roadmaps and planning * Deliver user training where required
Requirements
Proven experience in application support (L2/L3) * Experience with service management systems and processes * Strong knowledge of configuration management, patching, and application security * Experience in a customer-facing IT support role * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills * Knowledge of UK Higher Education systems and processes * Understanding of UK GDPR / data protection
Desirable
Experience working in Higher Education * Familiarity with agile delivery * ITIL or relevant application certifications
