Job description

Are you passionate about technology and enjoy helping others? Join our Digital Technologies team as a Digital Support Technician and be the go-to person for IT and AV support across the University. In this role you will:

  • Provide friendly IT & AV support in person and remotely
  • Set up and maintain devices including PCs, laptops, printers and AV equipment
  • Commissioning and User Acceptance Testing of technology installations
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and assist users
  • Support network and voice patching tasks
  • Create clear support materials and deliver basic user training

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, collaboration Tools (MS Teams etc.) and common hardware peripherals

  • Experience of using and maintaining AV equipment used in teaching environments
  • Managing technical assets and routine maintenance plans
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and follow technical documentation
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
