Job description

  • Provide on-site support in designated schools and conduct visits to multiple sites as needed
  • Maintain excellent customer service while managing incidents and service requests
  • Comply with ITIL processes for IT Service Delivery
  • Identify and escalate incidents to higher-level support when necessary
  • Stay updated on technical developments to resolve incidents quickly
  • Support policy development related to ICT across the business
  • Ensure performance and reliability of computer peripheral equipment
  • Administer effective support for the IT network to facilitate teaching and administrative needs
  • Ensure compliance with IT-related legislation and software licensing
  • Monitor procurement and liaise with suppliers
  • Install and remove software as directed
  • Maintain accurate records of assets and configurations
  • Manage the printer and MFD fleet for smooth service operation
  • Support IT services for availability and evening events as required
  • Manage user access to resources and information remotely and onsite

Requirements

  • Experience providing first and second-line IT support
  • Ability to communicate professionally and positively with customers
  • Access to own vehicle for site visits
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (Change Management, Incident Management)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft, InTune, and Autopilot
  • Experience with cloud office packages, ideally OneDrive
  • Understanding of network administration and IT compliance
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to manage and maintain IT equipment, including printers and peripherals
  • Capability to produce and maintain accurate asset records
