Job description
- Work within a global people systems team responsible for the configuration and maintenance of all active modules within Workday.
- Act as first-line support for Workday queries from across the firm by operating the Workday specialist queue in ServiceNow, escalating to functional leads as required.
- Support the production and maintenance of system training materials and guidance.
- Collaborate with the functional leads to address configuration needs across multiple modules, with a focus on core HCM enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes or improve system usability. Share ideas with the team and participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience through technology.
- Partner with internal IT teams, considering the downstream impact on systems.
- Participate in bi-annual Workday releases, performing regression testing, discovering new features, and communicating changes to key stakeholders.
- Provide testing support for people system projects across the team.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Workday?, * A minimum of one year's Workday experience, with an excellent understanding of Workday's Core HCM module.
- Practical understanding of some additional Workday functional areas desirable (Recruiting, Compensation, Talent & Performance, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits).
- Strong organisational skills, with experience in operating incident management tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work well within a global and sometimes virtual team.
- Understanding of HRIS process governance and operational frameworks.
