Job description

  • Provide 1st Line support to users for hardware and software issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application support and bespoke software issues
  • Assist with Windows Server management and maintenance
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 users
  • Manage Azure Active Directory functionalities
  • Resolve issues related to Exchange server environments
  • Administer and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
  • Maintain and support Networking & Wi-Fi Infrastructure
  • Assist with Server Virtualisation tasks
  • Implement Security and Firewall measures
  • Handle Backup/DR troubleshooting and management
  • Conduct hardware troubleshooting for Dell & HP devices
  • Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers to ensure efficient fault management
  • Document support processes and share knowledge within the team

Requirements

  • Recent university/college graduate or apprentice
  • 1st Line/Service Desk/Helpdesk experience
  • Application Support and Bespoke Software Support knowledge
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Exchange 2007/2010/2013/2016 Server
  • Awareness of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
  • Basic understanding of Networking & Wi-Fi Infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Server Virtualisation
  • Knowledge of Security and Firewall concepts
  • Experience with Backup/DR troubleshooting & management
  • Troubleshooting skills for Dell & HP hardware
  • Ability to liaise with 3rd party suppliers and manage SLAs
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the role
