About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in e-commerce and agency experience.
As a Project Manager in our full service digital agency, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of multi-service retainers and projects, with a heavy emphasis on Shopify-based Ecommerce sites, ensuring their successful delivery within budget, scope, and timeline.
Your Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Create project plans, breaking down assignments into actionable tasks and timelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to find ways to turn strategic objectives into plans, and in return inform decisions based on the operational realities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and clients, to ensure smooth execution of set plans.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.
- With other Project Managers and Operations Director, manage team resourcing and workload related to your assigned projects.
- Promote and supervise the correct use of agency tools and processes, while suggesting improvements.
E-commerce subject matter experience:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices as they relate to your role.
- Experience working with Shopify is highly preferred, but experience with similar platforms (e.g. Magento) may be considered
- Provide insights and recommendations to strategy colleagues and clients regarding implementing within scopes.
- Understand development concepts and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You don't need to be an expert yourself, but you know enough to keep the work moving forward and when to pull in other subject matter experts.
Client Communication:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients for all things project delivery: including the status of all work planned and in progress, timelines, and use of the budget.
- Be the gatekeeper for new work and flow of information, being the first line of defence and coordinator of incoming requests from clients.
- Be professional while being the steward of the project and protector of the agency's time. You aren't afraid to say no (but always come prepared with an alternative suggestion).
- Help onboard new clients to our processes and use collaboration tools effectively.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate communication and foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective exchange of ideas and information.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, website development processes, and project management methodologies.
