Job description
This position focuses on the development of an advanced energy management platform for buildings, designed to promote integration into local flexibility markets and dynamic interaction with distribution system operators. This platform will enable the automated negotiation of flexibility services between the different actors in the electricity system, ensuring transparency, traceability and security of transactions through the use of distributed technologies.
It also proposes the design of a stochastic optimisation framework that incorporates probabilistic prediction models and hybrid optimisation and machine learning techniques. This approach will enable flexibility to be assessed, planned and offered efficiently in scenarios of uncertainty in generation and consumption, helping to maximise the operational and economic performance of aggregators and improve coordinated management with the DSO within a smart energy environment.
