Network Engineer

• You will be joining a talented Network team within our well-known company located between Poole and Dorchester in Dorset.
• This role has a predominantly project-based focus, with a 70/30 split between Business as Usual (BAU) and project work.
• You will work on our robust 5-year roadmap that includes numerous network upgrades, ensuring that there is plenty of engaging work.
• Collaborate with a team of six high-level network engineers who are committed to supporting one another.
• Champion various platforms including secure application gateways, reverse proxies, DHCP, MPLS, VPLS, DNS (BIND & Microsoft DNS), voice/video integration (SIP, IP-PBX, SBC), Cisco/HP core and edge networking, Cisco firewall technologies (ASA/Firepower), and Cisco VPN solutions.

• As a Network Engineer, you need to possess excellent verbal communication skills, exceptional analytical and technical abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• A strong network background is beneficial.
• CCNA certification is a plus, but not mandatory, provided you have a solid understanding of network principles.
