Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Helpdesk Operative to join the team at Royal Stoke Hospital. This role plays a vital part in supporting hospital services by ensuring service requests are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with Trust standards., * Respond to incoming calls within required service level standards

  • Log and process Hard FM service requests accurately and promptly

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with minimal complaints

  • Ensure all records, training, and performance documentation are kept up to date

  • Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control policies at all times

  • Maintain strict confidentiality in line with Trust policies

  • Follow Health & Safety legislation and relevant codes of practice

  • Support continuous improvement in service delivery

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A positive ambassador for company values

  • A strong team player with a proactive attitude

  • IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Willing to learn new systems such as Global Maximo

  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and complaint handling skills

  • Able to work independently and adapt quickly to change

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

  • Emotionally resilient and self-motivated

  • Respectful of confidentiality and sensitive information, Global Maximo: 1 year (preferred)
