GIS Technician

As a GIS Technician, here is what you will be doing::

• Creating Cemetery Specs from Google MyMaps
• Tabulating Cemetery Specs on Google Spreadsheets
• Creation of georeferenced aerial mosaics
• Using Photoshop to alter TIFFs, PNGs and JPEGs
• Creating webmaps through the use of Arcmap, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
• Champion product consistency and support implementation of product standards
• Continuous innovation to improve current product capabilities
• General assistance to wider mapping team effort

This role is a best suited to someone who can work independently, apply best-practice GIS methods and tools, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business., * Degree in a GIS related subject or equivalent experience.

• Experience using:
• Photoshop
• Arcmap
• ArcGIS Pro
• AutoCAD
• G suite (mail, drive, hangout, docs) or Microsoft Office
• Google MyMaps

• We are a growing / scaling company - as such we don't always have everything neatly mapped out so you have to be comfortable with ambiguity sometimes
• A 40 hour working week and flexible working hours. We ask everyone to be in the office during our core hours from 10-4pm meaning you can balance your work hours around life's commitments.
