Are you in?, * Data is the key: Develop scripts and automations to enable comprehensive data analysis of our Cyber Security services

• Shape the future: Design, create, and maintain robust analytical dashboards (e.g., in KNIME, Tableau) and data models that integrate and visualize data from multiple sources for KPIs
• Take responsibility: Support the development of a strategic proposal for implementing GenAI solutions in our cyber security tools, which are used to help users implement security measures. Afterwards, actively contribute to bringing the concept to life within our organization
• Quality assurance and documentation: Define comprehensive testing strategies, conduct quality assurance reviews, and create clear documentation and training materials that ensure adoption and long-term maintainability
• Side quests: Explore diverse learning opportunities that add variety to your role, such as understanding our risk management processes, evaluating implementation tools, or presenting on a cyber security topic you are passionate about during our annual Cyber Security Awareness Month, * Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
• You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Study field: Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field

• Way of working: Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Experience: Experience designing and developing small programs or scripts involving databases, API integration, and ideally generative AI components
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities; foundational cyber security knowledge; solid programming proficiency (preferably in Python and SQL Alchemy); and an understanding of generative AI concepts including machine learning, prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Personality: Excellent communication skills, strong critical-thinking abilities, and the capacity to balance detailed work with strategic, big-picture thinking
• Language skills: Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken
• Availability: Normally able to commit 14-18 hours per week for a minimum duration of 6 months
