Job description
This role provides technical and user support for the Council's NEC Housing system, helping to ensure it is used effectively and efficiently across housing services. You will work closely with system users to resolve issues, improve processes, and maximise system functionality.
The postholder will produce bespoke reports, support data quality, and help embed good practice in system use. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will share knowledge, support learning and development, and contribute to continuous service improvement., * Provide first-line and ongoing support to users of the NEC Housing system
- Investigate and resolve system issues, liaising with suppliers where necessary
- Develop and maintain system processes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness
- Produce bespoke reports and data extracts to support operational and strategic needs
- Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality
- Deliver training, guidance, and support materials for system users
Requirements
Do you have experience in Data management?, * Experience supporting or administering housing management systems (NEC Housing system desirable)
- Strong understanding of housing services processes such as repairs, allocations, rents, or asset management
- Experience producing bespoke reports and working with data to meet service needs
- Good knowledge of data quality principles and system data management
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues and provide user-focused solutions
- Experience delivering system training or user guidance
