Job description
- Provide functional ownership and support across Oracle EBS modules such as AP, AR, GL, PO, INV, and OM (depending on your strengths).
- Run requirements workshops: process mapping, gap analysis, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.
- Deliver enhancements through configuration and controlled change: value sets, descriptive flexfields (DFF), key flexfields (KFF), approvals, tax rules, and workflow updates.
- Own end-to-end testing: SIT, UAT, regression planning, defect triage, and release readiness.
- Manage integrations and data flows: EDI, SFTP file drops, XML/CSV interfaces, and API/service-based integrations-ensuring reconciliation, auditability, and exception handling.
- Support operational processing: period-end activities, posting issues, interface failures, and transactional exceptions.
- Coordinate with technical teams on RICEW changes (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) and production support.
- Maintain functional documentation: process maps, configuration notes, runbooks, training materials, and change records., * Oracle Database (data investigation and reconciliation with SQL)
- Concurrent Manager / request sets, scheduling and output control
- BI Publisher (report templates, bursting, outputs) and/or Oracle Reports
- Workflow concepts (approvals, notifications, exception handling)
- FNDLOAD familiarity (moving setups/config between environments)
- Environment concepts: DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD, change control and release governance, * You'll stabilise key pain points quickly: recurring interface failures, data quality issues, or slow manual processes.
- You'll establish a clear, prioritised enhancement backlog tied to operational outcomes.
- You'll improve release confidence via stronger UAT, clearer acceptance criteria, and better documentation/runbooks.
- You'll increase trust in reporting and integrations through better reconciliation and exception management.
Requirements
- Strong functional experience with Oracle EBS in a live enterprise environment
- Process knowledge across at least two areas (e.g. Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Inventory)
- Confident running UAT and managing defects through to resolution
- Strong understanding of integrations and data movement (file-based feeds, EDI, API concepts, reconciliation)
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation discipline
- Comfortable working within structured change frameworks (ITIL/Service Management or equivalent), * Exposure to RICEW demand shaping and support (working with technical teams on interfaces/reports)
- Familiarity with PL/SQL basics (reading logic, understanding validation points, tracing causes)
- Experience with period close support and finance controls (posting, reconciliation, audit trails)
- Experience in regulated/audit-driven environments (evidence trails, segregation of duties, approvals), Someone who can own Oracle EBS functionally, understand how processes connect end-to-end, and work calmly with operations, finance and technology teams to keep systems stable while delivering continuous improvement.

- Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)
- Location: UK-based (Hybrid / Remote options available, occasional site visits as required)
