Interim Chief of Staff (VP Data and AI)

For one of our clients, we are looking for an Interim Chief of Staff to support the VP Data, Insights and AI within the Marketplace Data and AI organisation. Contract details: This is a six-month assignment starting as soon as possible, with the possibility of extension. For this role, we can only consider freelancers. The role requires 40 hours per week with three days per week onsite. One onsite day is fixed; Wednesday is flexible., * The Interim Chief of Staff will act as the strategic right hand of the VP Data and AI, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, driving structure, enabling effective decision making, and supporting strategic and cross-functional initiatives. This includes implementing and improving operational processes, business planning, reporting and establishing an effective rhythm of business.

• The role oversees alignment across departments, tracks delivery of key initiatives and KPIs, and drives the adoption of company-wide processes such as strategic planning cycles, quarterly operational reviews and budgeting.
• The Chief of Staff supports yearly planning activities, identifies key dependencies and ensures effective follow-up throughout the year.
• This position may also own strategic topics, using data-driven analysis to define problems, generate insights and build recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Additionally, the role may include leading or supporting complex programmes and business-critical initiatives within the Data and AI organisation.

• We are seeking a senior candidate with strong strategic and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in Data and AI environments is required, along with a solid understanding of product development within data-driven organisations.
• Candidates with backgrounds in consulting environments such as Big Four or in technology companies are preferred.
• The ideal profile brings strong analytical skills, stakeholder management experience up to VP level, excellent communication abilities and a proven track record in planning, governance and operational excellence. At least eight years of relevant experience is required.
