Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support across our London office and Northern Europe region. This role ensures smooth IT operations, compliance, and user satisfaction through proactive and responsive service. Key responsibilities

  • Provide desk-side and remote support for users across Northern Europe.
  • Build and configure PCs, laptops, and peripheral hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, networks, mobile devices, and telecom systems.
  • Manage tickets escalated from the Global IT Service Desk and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records and manage procurement activities.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate IT and security policies.
  • Support disaster recovery processes and maintain data integrity through backups.
  • Liaise with external service providers for efficient issue resolution.
  • Develop user guides and provide training to staff where needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of 2nd line support experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • Hands-on experience with Dell hardware, SCCM, and mobile device management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA) and ITIL knowledge are advantageous.
