Role Summary
We are looking for a driven Global IT Manager to take ownership of our corporate IT
environment across all countries.
You will lead our global IT function, working closely with the CTO, software engineering
leadership, and operations teams.
This role:
- Owns corporate IT platforms and operations (identity, devices, collaboration, access, security tooling)
- Works alongside, not within, software engineering/product teams
- Leads a global IT delivery organisation currently centred in India, and expanding through:
- teams inherited from acquired companies
- specialist third-party vendors in regions where we do not have internal IT presence
- Coordinates and unifies these groups into a single operating model
- Plays a key role in integrating newly acquired companies
- Helps mature our security, compliance, and operating processes over time
This is not a "keep the lights on" role - it is a chance to shape how IT works across the entire business.
What You'll Own
Global IT Foundations
- Design and evolve our cloud-first, SaaS-only IT environment
- Define global standards for identity, endpoint management, security configuration, SaaS onboarding/offboarding, and data protection
- Build and execute a practical multi-year roadmap covering:
- Security maturity
- Automation
- Compliance readiness (ISO 27001 aligned)
- Platform consolidation
- Cost and people efficiency
Operating Model & Distributed Teams
- Lead our global IT operating model:
- Strategy, architecture & execution ownership from the UK
- Day-to-day delivery primarily through India-based teams today
- Increasingly through:
- internal IT teams joining via acquisitions
- approved regional managed service providers and specialist vendors
- Unify internal teams and vendors under common tools, standards, processes, security controls, and performance metrics
- Manage IT leads and vendors across regions and time zones
- Establish clear ownership, SLAs, KPIs, escalation paths, and documentation
- Build an IT function that scales as headcount, geography, and acquisitions grow
Identity, Devices & Core Platforms (Zoho-First)
You will directly own:
- Zoho Directory - our primary identity and access management platform
- Device management / UEM platform
- Google Workspace
- Core security tooling for corporate IT
- Office Level Networking (primarily internet access)
- Telecoms
- Including:
- Joiner / mover / leaver automation
- Role-based access models
- Device lifecycle standards
- Security baselines
- License optimisation
Business Systems - Consultative Ownership
For systems such as:
- CRM
- Finance platforms
- Marketing tools
- Analytics
You will:
- Act as the IT authority on security, identity integration, access control, vendor risk, network, telecoms and architecture/vendor decisions
- Partner with business and system owners rather than directly running these platforms
- Ensure consistency and integration with the wider IT ecosystem
M&A and Integration

Support technical due diligence for acquisitions

Assess identity models, device posture, SaaS usage, and security risks

Lead IT integration work including:

Integrate internal IT teams from acquired companies into the global operating model

Build repeatable integration playbooks
Security, Risk & Maturity
- Move the organisation towards strong security fundamentals, auditable processes, ISO 27001-aligned practices, and GDPR compliance
- Define incident response, access reviews, and vendor risk processes
- Work closely with product and security engineering teams where responsibilities intersect
Requirements
Do you have experience in SaaS?, * Experience working in global, distributed IT environments is advantageous
- Experience coordinating internal teams and external vendors
- Comfortable taking ownership in imperfect, fast-moving systems
- Fast learner who enjoys solving ambiguous problems
- Ready to step into broader leadership responsibility
Experience & Skills (Guidance)
- 4-8+ years in IT, systems, or technical leadership roles
- Experience with:
- SaaS-first environments
- Identity platforms (Zoho Directory, Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
- Endpoint management / UEM
- Google Workspace or similar
- Offshore / nearshore teams and vendor coordination
- Exposure to security best practices, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001 / SOC 2 / GDPR), and M&A integration is beneficial but not required
