Job description
We are seeking a highly capable Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join my clients growing team. This is an onsite position suited to someone who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic environment and enjoys owning infrastructure from the ground up. You will play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing our core network, server, and cloud services as we continue to scale., * Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including Switches, Routers, and Firewalls.
- Deploy and manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and related services.
- Build, configure, and manage virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V) from scratch.
- Oversee and optimise Firewall policies, security rules, and network segmentation.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, security policies, compliance configurations, and identity management.
- Set up and manage Autopilot devices, Intune enrolment, endpoint policies, and device life cycle management.
- Support ongoing infrastructure improvements, system upgrades, and network resilience projects.
- Troubleshoot complex network, server, and cloud issues in a structured, methodical manner.
- Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous service improvement.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with strong, hands-on experience in:
- Network configuration & design (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs).
- Firewall management (eg, Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, Palo Alto - any enterprise-grade experience welcome).
- Windows Server administration and domain services.
- Virtualisation platforms (VMware or Hyper-V).
- Microsoft 365 administration, including security, compliance, and identity configuration.
- Endpoint and device management via Intune, including Autopilot.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment.
