Job description
The IT & Systems Implementation Specialist is a mid-level IT professional responsible for managing IT infrastructure, implementing new software, and driving technology solutions that improve business operations. This role combines hands-on IT support with system deployment, software integration, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring the business operates efficiently and scales effectively., IT Support & Infrastructure Management:
- Provide advanced IT support for hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth, reliable operations.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including workstations, endpoint devices, telephony systems, and network resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating only when necessary.
Systems Implementation & Business Improvement:
- Lead the evaluation, deployment, and integration of new software platforms to improve operational efficiency, reporting, and customer service.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Intune and other endpoint management tools for device provisioning, security, and compliance.
- Oversee the lifecycle of IT equipment, including procurement, setup, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify areas where technology can streamline processes, enhance productivity, and support expansion.
- Provide training and documentation to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
Telephony & Network Management:
- Manage telephony systems (VoIP, PBX) and monitor network performance to minimise downtime.
- Configure call routing, queues, and system integrations to optimise operational efficiency.
IT Projects & Continuous Improvement:
- Drive IT projects that improve business operations, including software rollouts, system upgrades, and process automation initiatives.
- Maintain security, compliance, and IT best practices across systems and devices.
- Recommend new technologies and strategies that align with business growth objectives., This is a proactive, mid-level IT role combining hands-on technical support with system implementation and business improvement initiatives. The IT & Systems Implementation Specialist ensures reliable IT operations while driving technology projects and software adoption that help the business expand, run more efficiently, and deliver better service.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proven experience in IT support, system deployment, or IT administration in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience implementing software solutions to enhance business operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and device provisioning.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
- Microsoft Intune is a must as were are looking to implement it.
- Familiarity with telephony systems, CRM software, and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Knowledge of IT security practices, patch management, and compliance.
- Understanding of business operations and call centre performance metrics (SLAs, AHT).
