Testing and Quality Assurance:
Perform functional and performance testing on network and server hardware, including routers, switches, servers, and storage devices.
Validate hardware features, configurations, and firmware to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Perform secure data wiping on network and server devices to ensure that all sensitive data is thoroughly erased.
Document and verify the data wiping process to maintain compliance with data security standards.
Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues through testing and debugging.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed and accurate test logs, defect reports, and test documentation.
Document test procedures, results, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Learning, Development, and Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and testing methodologies.
Utilise online resources effectively to research solutions and best practices when documentation is incomplete or unavailable.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of network/server hardware.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Ethernet?, We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Hardware/Server Hardware Testing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality of network and server hardware products, as well as performing data wiping tasks on network devices. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, has a basic understanding of network/server hardware, and is eager to learn and adapt in a hands-on environment., Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of network and server hardware components (routers, switches, servers, etc.).
Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and hardware interfaces
Knowledge of secure data wiping processes and tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to independently research and find solutions using online resources when documentation is unavailable.
Preferred Qualifications (Not essential as training provided)
Familiarity with hardware test automation tools or scripting languages
Experience with hardware testing environments
Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or related.
Driving License - Not required, but advantageous.
