IT Helpdesk - First Line Support

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive and customer focused Temporary First Line Support Technician to join their IT service team based in Farnham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for resolving IT issues quickly and professionally., * Acting as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, and ticketing system

• Troubleshooting and resolving first-line technical issues (hardware, software, connectivity)
• Logging all incidents accurately and prioritising tickets appropriately
• Supporting users with Microsoft 365, password resets, and basic account tasks
• Setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, and peripherals
• Escalating issues to second-line support when needed
• Providing excellent customer service with clear communication throughout

• Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role is desirable but not essential
• Strong understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
• Confident communicator with a friendly, approachable manner
• Ability to problem-solve and work efficiently under pressure
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently, * Someone proactive with a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• A team player who enjoys helping others
• Someone available immediately or on short notice
