Your Role

As a Network Engineer, you will play a key position in designing, implementing, and supporting secure and scalable network solutions for enterprise clients. This role will suit someone who is confident working across complex environments, with a strong focus on next-generation firewalls and load-balancing technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting next-generation firewalls, particularly Fortinet and Palo Alto
  • Managing and optimising F5 load balancers
  • Supporting network routing, switching, security, and performance optimisation
  • Working closely with customers to resolve technical escalations
  • Contributing to project implementations, upgrades, and solution deployments
  • Ensuring network integrity, security, and high availability across customer environments

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful, you should have:

  • Strong experience working as a Network Engineer in a technical support or MSP environment ideally.
  • Solid hands-on expertise with Fortinet firewalls
  • Experience with F5 load balancing
  • Ideally, exposure to or experience with Palo Alto technologies
  • Good understanding of routing and switching fundamentals
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to develop professionally
  • Relevant vendor certifications (Fortinet / Palo Alto / F5 / Cisco) are highly desirable but not essential
