Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Technical Services Engineer on behalf of one of our leading aviation clients based in Southeast England. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a pivotal role, overseeing quotations, developing detailed work packs, providing maintenance support, managing key administrative responsibilities, and contributing to the successful planning and execution of strategic projects. The position will also involve customer-facing elements, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
Responsibilities
Report to and deputise for the Head of Technical Services.
Ensure timely quotation generation and work pack (WO) preparation., Provide technical support and act as liaison with OEM technical teams.
Requirements
Experience within a Part-M and/or Part-145 organisation.
Experience working directly with customers, including HNWIs.
Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning and tracking systems.
Thorough understanding of Part-M, Part-145 and MOE requirements.
Knowledge of SMS, Just Culture and occurrence reporting systems.
Understanding of continuing airworthiness requirements.
Strong awareness of EH&S policies and human performance principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Methodical, organised and detail-focused approach.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Ability to prioritise critical tasks and manage varying workloads.
Self-motivated with strong drive and leadership capability.
Ability to interpret work orders, maintenance data and control completed work cards.
