Job description

You'll work across our school client sites, providing on-site support to staff and students. This is a field role predominantly based in Southampton, but with travel to clients in Bournemouth. You'll be the face of our service - the person teachers and office staff come to when they need help, and the engineer they trust to get things working. Some days are device rollouts and installs. Others are user support and guidance.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in VoIP?, We provide managed IT services to schools across Hampshire and Dorset. We're looking for a capable, hands-on engineer to join our team., * Proven experience in hands-on IT support - ideally field-based or across multiple client sites

  • Confident working independently at a client site and holding the client relationship day-to-day
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in making their working day easier
  • Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows 11
  • Intune, Group Policy, and Windows Server experience desirable
  • Able to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues without relying on escalation for routine problems
  • Networking fundamentals - DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication with non-technical staff and the ability to manage expectations
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience in schools or education environments
  • Familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi
  • Experience with print management, VoIP, or enterprise wireless platforms
