Project Manager (Telecom)

Centrohire is partnering with a leading UK telecommunications delivery partner to recruit an experienced Telecom Project Manager for strategic infrastructure programmes across Scotland.

This is a high-impact role suited to candidates with strong delivery experience in network expansion, fixed network deployments (including FTTP/FTTH), engineering coordination and vendor management. You will lead cross-functional teams, work with key stakeholders, and ensure project excellence in line with UK standards. This role is UK-based only, and is ideal for professionals with a demonstrable track record in telecom project delivery within regulated environments., * Lead full project delivery life cycle for telco infrastructure programmes, including planning, execution and handover. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, risk registers and resource plans.

• Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors and subcontractors to ensure high quality, on-time delivery.
• Manage stakeholder engagement with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and key commercial partners.
• Review and manage project risks, issues and dependencies with proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UK telecom standards, health & safety requirements and regulatory frameworks. Report project progress to senior leadership and delivery leadership teams.

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Telecommunication?, * Project Management Qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM or equivalent).

• 3 to 5 years experience managing telecom infrastructure or network delivery projects within the UK.
• Solid understanding of FTTP/FTTH deployment, fixed network builds, or major system/network upgrades.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams and external vendors, including civil works and wayleave processes.
• Strong commercial, planning, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management expertise.
• Experience using project planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Atlassian Jira or similar.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations across Scotland.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with UK network operators, infrastructure partners or delivery contractors.
• Awareness of UK telecom regulatory frameworks (e.g., CDM Regulations 2015, NRSWA, planning consents). Exposure to mobile network deployment or 5G build-outs., * Are you familiar with UK telecom regulations (CDM Regulations, NRSWA, wayleave processes)?
• Do you hold a full UK driving licence and are you willing to travel across Scotland?
