Job description
An expanding nuclear programme is recruiting an IT Systems Administrator/IT Service Desk Analyst to support its operational IT environment. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will provide hands-on support across service desk, systems administration, identity management, and SaaS platforms. This role sits at the centre of the programme's IT operations and will work closely with both internal users and the parent organisation's technology teams., Provide first and second line service desk support Manage user accounts and JML (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) processes Administer enterprise systems and SaaS platforms Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues Work with internal stakeholders and parent-organisation IT teams Support service delivery within defined SLAs Assist with cybersecurity practices and operational compliance Contribute to operational documentation and knowledge base
Requirements
Strong experience in IT support and systems administration Account management and identity management (JML life cycle) Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and SaaS platforms Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues Experience operating within ITIL processes and service frameworks Solid cybersecurity awareness and operational security practices Familiarity with COBIT governance frameworks Excellent communication and user-facing support skills SC security clearance is required (or ability to obtain)
Desirable Experience administering Okta (identity and access management), including SSO configuration, MFA policies, life cycle management, and integration with SaaS and enterprise applications
