Job description
Proposal writing and impacting process for both work packages and statements of work. . Direct the execution and implementation of the Project, using agile project management and delivery methods. . Develop and maintain project schedules and work with the delivery team to establish a delivery rhythm, balance priorities, manage risks, dependencies, and remove blockers. . Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage of delivery using business process. . Manage stakeholders and other suppliers to ensure good relations and effective communication. . Communicate and report effectively. . Be accountable for your Project budgets to ensure delivery of value, accurate forecasting and management of change. . Lead and motivate multiple multi-disciplinary teams, having knowledge and experience to provide guidance and support. Ensure teams are able to work effectively by having a productive working environment . Predict staff requirements to enable effective resourcing
Requirements
Experience of managing large IT projects including integration of multiple delivery areas. . Evidence of strong risk and dependency management . Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management skills, ability to build productive relationships . Commercial and Financial Experience. . Proven leadership and motivational skills . Ability to work independently and with the client, with flexibility about work content with ability to balance priorities across multiple tasks at the same time . Experience of delivery using an iterative/agile methodology and collaboration tools (eg Agile/SCRUM, Atlassian Jira, Agile for Scrum, Confluence, SAFe) . Service transition experperience with history of transitioning large projects to live service
The following would be an advantage but is not essential: . Experience of working with the Bid and Sales teams . Professional Scrum Master or SAFe Qualification . Understanding of DevOps and how to build effective product/feature teams
