SAP Platform Expert

We are seeking an experienced SAP Platform Expert to support the review and optimization of Emergency User (EMG/Firefighter) processes across multiple SAP systems. The objective is to reduce privileged access usage, eliminate unnecessary SAP_ALL/SAP_NEW assignments, and strengthen the overall security and compliance framework in alignment with internal audit requirements and OneSAP+ standards.

This role combines deep SAP authorization expertise with governance, risk, and documentation capabilities.

• Perform AS-IS analysis of Emergency User usage across SAP landscapes
• Identify valid EMG use cases and detect unnecessary or structural misuse
• Analyze user statistics and system logs to assess privileged access patterns
• Conduct authorization gap analysis to enable execution via common dialog users
• Redesign and optimize role concepts based on task/function-based authorization principles
• Support the development and documentation of a strengthened Emergency User procedure
• Ensure reduction of SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW assignments wherever possible
• Provide clear documentation of exceptions and business justifications
• Collaborate with security, audit, and business stakeholders
• Manage tasks and documentation through Jira

• In-depth technical understanding of SAP Emergency User / Firefighter procedures
• Strong expertise in SAP authorization architecture and role design
• Experience with task-based and function-based authorization concepts
• Solid understanding of ABAP authorization objects in S/4HANA and other ABAP systems (e.g., SRM, CRM)
• Experience with SAP user statistics analysis and access review
• Background in SAP GRC Access Control / privileged access governance is highly desirable
• Experience working in audit-driven or compliance-driven environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English and one of the following: Dutch, French, or German
