Job description

As a Technical Assessor, you will:

  • Conduct on-site access assessments across the UK (typically 2-3 days per week on the road).
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapists, local authorities, and end user customers.
  • Take accurate measurements, photos, and complete structured assessments.
  • Produce simple 2D layout drawings using Solid Edge (training provided).
  • Recommend safe, appropriate solutions with compassion and professionalism.
  • Liaise with the customer service team to hand over drawings for quoting.
  • Help maintain service levels, working as part of the wider customer service team to handle income enquiries via telephone and email., * Visit customer sites to complete detailed assessments for ramp/access solutions
  • Capture accurate data: measurements, photos, environmental details
  • Produce 2D drawings using Solid Edge (drag-and-drop style interface)
  • Build strong relationships with external professionals (OTs, councils, contractors)
  • Provide practical recommendations with sensitivity
  • Work closely with internal teams to support fast quote turnaround
  • Maintain consistent working hours to support workflow and customer response times
