Job description
- Lead the operational management and strategic oversight of servers, PCs, laptops, peripherals, and all core IT infrastructure.
- Direct the installation, performance, and optimisation of IT networks and software across the organisation.
- Champion the resilience and security of all IT systems, regularly testing backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Resolve complex IT Helpdesk issues, providing mentorship and technical escalation support to junior engineers.
- Supervise and cultivate the talents of the Assistant IT Support Engineer, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with external IT suppliers and support organisations to ensure seamless operations.
- Deliver expert technical advice and strategic guidance to management and staff on evolving IT matters.
- Oversee and optimise printer, telephone, and mobile communications, resolving technical challenges swiftly.
- Manage integration and performance of a diverse range of electronic devices across the business.
- Plan and execute IT and telecommunication aspects of business-driven office moves and organisational changes.
- Provide essential cover for the IT Systems Developer to safeguard daily IT service standards.
Projects working on:
- Manage IT Helpdesk meeting agreed up SLA standards.
- Onboarding new starters and offboarding leavers from the organisation.
- Managing IT equipment refresh across the organisation.
- Managing software roll out and upgrades across the organisation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Recognised IT qualification or a minimum of five years' hands-on experience in a senior IT capacity.
- Advanced technical proficiency and a proven record of engineering excellence.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, suited to working with stakeholders at every level.
- Creative and analytical problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for delivering innovative solutions.
- Superior organisational skills, able to prioritise competing demands and perform under pressure.
