New Resource Recruitment are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT projects from inception to delivery, ensuring scope, timelines, resources, risks, and governance are effectively managed for our client based in Chippenham.
The primary focus will be enhancing an existing software platform with several key new features., · Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and delivery timelines.
· Build, maintain, and own project schedules and delivery plans.
· Allocate and coordinate cross-functional resources including developers, QA, and designers.
· Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and manage project-level communication.
· Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and steering meetings.
· Oversee testing phases (QA, integration, UAT) and manage go-live readiness.
· Drive progress across teams and third-party suppliers while removing blockers.
· Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
· Have proven experience delivering IT projects end-to-end.
· Keep projects and people on track without policing, with gravitas and diplomacy.
· Be personable, engaging, and capable of inspiring teams.
· Demonstrate tenacity and a positive approach to overcoming obstacles.

· Able to manage multiple priorities calmly and methodically, · Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
· Familiarity with regulated environments and technology/software projects.
· Experience managing third-party suppliers.
· PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or APM membership is a plus but not essential.

Hours: Ideally 2 days per week (flexible working arrangements can be discussed, including hybrid/homeworking)
Salary: £20,000 per annum (FTE £50,000)
