The IT Support Technician Role:

As a support technician, you will manage, maintain, and optimise a wide array of IT systems and software, ensuring seamless operations across our organisation. Your role will encompass various systems administration, cybersecurity, compliance, and support tasks.

What You'll Do:

  • Technical Resolution by taking ownership of raised incident, ensuring rapid resolution of complex workstation, server and network issues.
  • Utilise ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus to manage ticket lifecycles, ensuring all documentation is accurate and SLAs are met.
  • Infrastructure and Identity Management
  • Networking and Security proving 2nd line support for Uniquiti network hardware, including wireless access points and switching
  • Provide expert remote and face to face support for a wide range of hardware including laptops, desktops and peripherals
  • Service improvement and Team Support, mentoring and assisting 1st line technicians with difficult tickets
  • Support the IT leadership in maintaining accurate hardware and software assess register

Requirements

As a support technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. If so, we want you to join our team as an IT Support Technician specialising in Microsoft 365 and Azure., * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to our services across the UK to provide in person IT support.

  • Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience, focusing on M365.
  • Strong knowledge of M365 applications and services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Flexible working environment and willingness to travel.
  • Microsoft 365 certification (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, MS-500) desirable but not essential.
  • ITIL certification is desirable but optional.
