SAP Basis Consultant

TalentBank Technology is supporting a leading organisation within the manufacturing sector to engage an experienced SAP Basis Consultant on an initial 6-month contract., This role will act as the technical authority across a complex SAP landscape, ensuring platform stability, security, and performance across multiple SAP environments. The successful consultant will combine strong SAP Basis administration expertise with security governance and platform oversight, supporting ongoing SAP transformation initiatives including preparation for RISE with SAP and future S/4HANA migration., * Lead SAP Basis administration across development, test, and production landscapes including ECC, BW/4HANA, Fiori and HANA environments.

• Deliver performance optimisation, patching, upgrades, system refreshes, and transport management.
• Manage SAP security architecture, user life cycle management, and access governance.
• Work closely with internal teams and managed service providers to maintain platform stability and service quality.
• Support SAP roadmap initiatives including RISE with SAP and S/4HANA readiness.

• Strong SAP Basis experience with hands-on administration across HANA and Linux environments.
• Deep knowledge of SAP security, authorisation models, and access governance.
• Experience managing SAP landscapes across multiple environments in enterprise settings.
• Experience working with managed service providers or hosting partners.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
