A great opportunity for a DesksideDeskside Support Engineer to join an -site IT team in Manchester. You'll handle technical issues that can't be resolved remotely, taking full ownership of incidents and service requests while delivering excellent -to-face support., + Provide desksidedeskside support for Windows 10, Microsoft Office, antivirus, Defender, and encryption tools

Resolve incidents and service requests requiring -site intervention.

Maintain accurate updates in the ITSMITSM system and communicate clearly with users.

Escalate P1P1/P2P2 issues when required.

Support product/application evaluations and follow all documented IT processes. What Success Looks Like

Effective resolution of issues beyond 1st1st Line and remote 2nd2nd Line capability.

Requirements
- Experience in desksidedeskside/ st & nd Line support.
- Strong communication and -facing skills.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Active Directory (password resets, account management).
- Understanding of antivirus, Defender, and basic security tools.
- Familiarity with encryption technologies (training provided).
- Hardware support: laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers.
- Basic networking: patching, connectivity checks, troubleshooting.
- Experience using an ITSMITSM platform (ServiceNowServiceNow or similar).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, software, and user issues.
