Infrastructure Engineer

NetApp Infrastructure Engineer to build, configure, and implement enterprise storage and network security platforms, with a focus on NetApp storage solutions and Fortinet security technologies. Ensuring delivery of secure, resilient, and high-performance infrastructure services that support critical business systems and data. You will have strong hands-on implementation exp across NetApp storage platforms and Fortinet security infrastructure, translating technical designs into operational solutions through standardised builds, secure configurations, and best-practice deployment. This role is working with cross functional teams, in collaboration with architecture, networking, cloud, and security. Contributing to delivery of robust on-premises and hybrid infrastructure. Driving consistency, automation, and continuous improvement across the infrastructure estate.

• Implementation of NetApp enterprise storage platforms and Fortinet security infrastructure.
• Translate technical designs into operational solutions
• Deliver resilient, high-availability infrastructure services that meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure infrastructure builds align with enterprise standards, security policies, and operational best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, configuration consistency, and service optimisation.

You will have a degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline and a strong background in NetApp enterprise storage platforms, working with Fortinet security technologies. This is a very successful, well-established, award-winning MSP so they do like candidates with ITIL based or worked in a similar MSP, service management environment. Would suit someone with proven hands-on infrastructure experience, building, configuring, and implementing NetApp storage solutions, including high availability, replication, and performance optimisation. Strong experience deploying and configuring Fortinet security infrastructure, including firewalls and core security services. Desirable

• Vendor certifications such as:
• NetApp (e.g. NCDA, NCIE, or equivalent)
• Fortinet (e.g. NSE 4-7 or equivalent)
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Security Clearance Office based, Stoke On Trent Must have security clearance or be willing to go through the process as part of the role.
