Job description

In this role, you will work closely with our Senior IT Support Officer to ensure our technologyfrom telephony and Microsoft 365 to clinical systemsruns smoothly. Your work will directly support our staff, allowing them to focus on providing high-quality, person-centered care., This is a hands-on position where you will be the first point of contact for technical support. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Resolving hardware, software, and telephony issues to maintain service continuity.
  • User Management: Handling account and equipment setup for new starters and leavers.
  • Project Support: Assisting with office moves, system upgrades, and the rollout of new digital infrastructure across the Hospice.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in IT support?, * Person-centered: You enjoy helping others and can communicate technical information clearly to staff with varying levels of digital confidence.

  • Technically minded: You have a solid understanding of IT hardware, AV systems, and software support.
  • Methodical and proactive: You can manage a busy workload, prioritise tasks, and use your initiative to resolve issues.
  • A team player: You are flexible, reliable, and keen to contribute to a multidisciplinary environment.

While based at our main hospice building, there may be a requirement to visit our other sites so holding a clean UK driving licence would be advantageous

Benefits & conditions

Starting Salary £30,212 WTE, per annum, pro rata (Based on 37.5 hours per week) (rising to £31,363 pro rata after 12 months satisfactory performance review) + Pension + Benefits
